I talked to the owners of the Hilltop Winery in Gilboa and they would love it if we did a show there sometime this summer or fall. Not much wall space and they do not want holes in the walls..but we cold do something on a small scale and have wine infested art patrons looking at our work. We Could over flow to the outside of the building also and of cooooooourse we could bring food...[of any kind]. " ART FOR THOUGHT" Bruce

Here are the notes from last night's meeting January 8th 2008,provided by Bruce....
We had a relaxed meeting . there were 6 of us there. Judy Ruen, THE Schroeders,
Mary Jo, and Mary Recker].. We talked about the Home and Garden show and agreed to run it as last year...letting only Brag members who show up to
work a few hours can display their work.. maybe try to get music and
'live artists' doing something artistic..
The members talked about the committees for the ART FEST IN THE PARK.
Mary Jo has reserved the Father's Day Sat. in June [the 17th I believe]. Mary Jo is
going to talk to last years big sponsors for another donation..[Banks,
Time Warner,,etc.] We thought you , Don, could talk to Butch again and
see if he would do the entertainment again. WE need to start thinking
about getting other artists to come and setup...WE will contact the
food people who came last year.
We talked about an ART WALK and came up with the 'BRAG Scenic Biway Art Cruise' . THe Gilboa Winery would like us to have a show or display art at their WInery.
WE could bring in food, no holes in the walls as there is little
wall space, put we could show in the large space. WE thought the
Cruise could Start in Glandorf, then to Ottawa, finish at Gilboa. We picked a date of
Sept. 20th. To be continnnnnued...

THe Masters' Garden Club is having a GARDEN SHOW in April [ the 5th I believe ] at the Miller City School. They have invited BRAG members to set up a space to exhibit garden and floral paintings that would be for sale. Note the art must relate to 'A GARDEN THEME'. We can discuss at the next meeting. BRUCE
